Awesome! Thanks, guys!
Hell. Yes.
Now just wait for the storm of peeps that have no idea how to get this onto a DVD LOL :)
FUCK YES. XD
Thank you!!!
Thank you very much!!!
How long will you guys have this up for download? I don't think I'll be able to get a blank dvd anytime soon, as I live in the middle of nowhere lol.
I see one problem with this, the download site only lets you download 1GB per day if you don't have a premium account :(. I don't wanna wait 3 days haha.
James I don't have a premium account and it let me download all 10 parts. It shouldn't be a problem.
<3!
Oh cool. Well part one is only at 59% now anyway lol. So it'll be tomorrow before it finishes. Thanks :)
Its burning right now, so stoked! Thanks Pabs :)
Just a tip for those of you unable to obtain a blank DVD:
you can mount the iso using a program such as DAEMON tools and watch it without one
I don't have a blank disc and my computer won't burn them even if I did. Can I just download and watch it on my computer or will I have to burn it somewhere? It's extremely frustrating.
Why not just create an alternate Youtube version (1 song per video)?
I bought a 1 day Sendspace subscription for $3 :D I think it's worth it. That way you can download all of them now and not have to be stuck at an 80KB download rate. Just saying.
I have it burned and it looks awesome on a big screen :)
P.S. You can just download the .iso and mount it and watch it without burning it to a DVD just like Thomas said.
Thomas, Thanks! I am going to try that because I don't have a blank CD.
will someone upload this as a .zip? or put it on btjunkie.
Any way this can become a torrent?
Somebody really needs to upload a torrent and seed this thing.
The purpose of the DVD is to have it with the highest quality as possible. It's not going to YouTube. If you want YT videos check out my account (TheSecretNinja337). You'll like it more than the DVD as I have more than 100 videos on there.
The torrent is a problem because there must be one person uploading all the time. They are already uploaded to SendSpace and there's no need for another person in the other side uploading anymore.
If you can't/don't want to burn it to a DVD, you can unRAR the .iso using WinRAR itself. Then download VLC Media Player (www.videolan.org), it's free and will play anything. Just open it and drag and drop the DVD folder onto it. Quality won't be as good as on your TV.
Anyone is free to upload the files to any other server and send the links to me at pablo@theartofdrowning.net
Thanx :) Quick question though, should this be taking an hour per file to download? At this rate it will take me 10 hrs, so i'm wondering if i'm doing this right *sigh*.
Well it really depends on your internet speed :\ But it really is worth the wait!
;-((,i got only last,10 part left and I reached that limit of 1GB per day.Now i have to wait for 9 hours.I really have no luck at all ;-((
Thank you SOOOOOOO much!!! Believe it or not, this is actually my first time burning a DVD :P Instructions are very clear!!
ps... paying $3 to use the high speed is definitely worth the time & money!!
Thanks :)
I've just uploaded a TORRENT here:
http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5315922/AFI_News_HQ_first_live_DVD_afinewshq.com
Will seed for some time, but the speed will suck unless other people start seeding too.
It should work, please tell me if it doesn't.
Thank you for torrent. Will seed!
Whew, thank you thank you for the torrent! I was struggling along trying to download all these bits from sendspace, very slow... and then I was getting "unexpected end of archive" when trying to un-rar it. Now my torrent download is zipping along. I will seed.
Ok so I downloaded the torrent but what program do I use to open it? I'm beyond annoyed with trying to watch it....
I dont even know how to work the torrent.. :(
@~*Miss Murder[DF]*~, Kyle: Do you mean the TORRENT file or the RAR archives? The .torrent file can be opened with any BitTorrent client, such as: KTorrent, Transmission, rTorrent, μTorrent(proprietary) or even Opera Web browser(also proprietary). For the RAR archives you can use RARLAB UnRAR(proprietary, freeware) or WinRAR(proprietary, shareware).
Please read the instructions provided here and linked in all caps in the post: http://www.aficrashlove.com/burndvd.htm
Please seed
http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5315922/AFI_News_HQ_first_live_DVD_afinewshq.com
it works, it's phantastic, thank you very very much!!!
Pirate Bay has been under a lot of Spyware fire lately, it'd be safer to use an alternate torrent site like IsoHunt.
Spyware's everywhere. But you can also use any of the sites listed here:
http://torrentz.com/98b09f65ddcf30cc1684636be09f1147eb0a9c5d
Also, feel free to repost the torrent to IsoHunt if You wish.
Also for RAR files you can use 7zip, which is better than winrar cause it's *free*. :P
WinRAR is free aswell. It has a trial period and after it's over you still can use it :P
@Pablo: WinRAR program is NOT free software(closed source). The RAR format is not free either.
That's one reason not to use it.
The other reason, in this case, is...you won't get a high compression ratio with video files that way. So there's no need to use any compression with these files at all. It saves time spent compressing and uncompressing, and system resources. But that's just me.
Downloading the torrent, and I plan to seed as long as the files are on my computer.
